Here’s what’s poppin’: you can make your own microwave popcorn right in your Stojo Bowl or Box!
The recipe below makes the perfect serving of popcorn. It’s also ultra-portable as it can be made and eaten all in your Stojo. Plus, all of our reusable products are made of the safest BPA-free, BPS-free, and premium food grade silicone, so there’s no worry of nasty toxins here.
DIY Stojo Popcorn
⅓ cup of popcorn kernels
1 Tbsp (or as much as you want!) of melted butter or coconut oil
A pinch of salt
1. In your Stojo Bowl or Box, combine popcorn kernels, melted butter or coconut oil, and salt.
2. Pop on the lid, close the clasps, and give your Stojo a good old shake to mix. (We call it the Stojo shake!)
3. Open up the 4 clasps on your Stojo so the hot air can escape through its handy dandy microwave vents. But keep the lid on!
4. Put your Stojo in the microwave for two minutes with the lid on and let the popping begin.
Voila! Enjoy healthier homemade popcorn in your Stojo.
For easy clean up, you can toss your Stojo into the dishwasher or wash by hand when you’re finished!
Bonus: to make this recipe even healthier, source your popcorn kernels from your local farmer’s market! If you can’t find any there, try finding a jar of organic kernels from your favorite grocery or health food store.
