Step-by-step instructions
Expand your Box or Bowl by unlocking the clasps on each side. Remove the lid from the base. Push down on the bottom of the base to expand your Box or Bowl. To close, put the lid back on and make sure the plastic grooves on the base and the lid are lined up. They should meet together to create an airtight seal. Lock the clasps one at a time by pushing down until they snap onto the base of your food storage container. Pro tip: lock the clasps with two thumbs, using your fingers to support the hard plastic ring underneath.

Step-by-step instructions
Start by ensuring the lid and the base of your Box or Bowl are completely lined up. They should fit together like a puzzle piece to create an airtight seal. Once they are lined up, push gently on each clasp until they snap onto the hard plastic base of your food storage container. Snap each clasp closed one at a time. We’ve found that using one hand to hold together the lid and the base and the other to close the clasps creates the tightest seal. Pro tip: lock the clasps with two thumbs, using your fingers to support the hard plastic ring underneath.
