Tips + Tricks for Keeping Your Stojo Fresh
We make cups with reusability in mind and the longer they last, the more disposable cups you save. So we’ve got some tips and tricks to make sure your Stojo can stand the test of time. Check out what our Product Team has to say about the absolute best ways to keep your Stojo looking and feeling good as new:
-
The Dishwasher: Stojos are dishwasher safe, and we recommend placing them on the top rack. For cups, you can disassemble all of the parts for a super thorough clean. (Fun fact: your cup is like a puzzle and can be taken apart and put together again. Peek the FAQs for a tutorial!) For bottles, simply unscrew the cap and you’re ready to clean.
-
By Hand: Use dish soap and water to handwash your Stojos. Make sure to let everything dry thoroughly. For a super deep clean, you can make a paste using white vinegar and baking soda. Apply the paste to the inside of your cup or bottle, and add boiling water to soak overnight. In the morning, rinse thoroughly with fresh water and you’re ready to go!
-
With Boiling Water: For cups and bottles, disassemble all of the parts and place only the silicone components in a pot of boiling water. (The recyclable plastic lids, collars, and heat sleeves may warp in temperatures above boiling point.) Allow to cool naturally before using.
When the possibilities for what you can put in your Stojo are endless, it’s nearly impossible to keep your cup or bottle sparkling clean at all times. Bookmark this article so when you put red kool-aid in your Cashmere cup, you know just how to get it back to normal.
